3rd batch inauguration of Don Bosco Tech

Don Bosco Tech the network of all Don Bosco Institutions offering vocational skill training held its 3rd batch inauguration cum parents meet on May 5.

Speaking on the occasion chief guest, Nchumthung Ngullie, DPO, DRDA Wokha, encouraged the students to gear up for tier livelihood as no government could provide jobs to all unemployed educated youths; he mentioned about the private sectors that there was a huge employment opportunity.

He also reminded about the situation of Wokha district that were getting less chance in government sectors. Adding that if students take interest in the training that Don Bosco Tech was imparting to them in the fields of “Hospitality management & Retails and Sales”, it would give them experience and help towards the development of one’s home town.

Rev. Fr. Matthew, Principal Don Bosco Higher secondary school Wokha, shared about the life of Don Bosco and told how he started the journey to work with the poor and unemployed youths likewise DBTech was started with the same mission to uplift the poor and un-privileged youths. Andrew the State co-ordinator DBTech and Sandeep the Placement co-ordinator DB Tech were also present in the function.
