1 held for ‘tax collection’

Troops of 29 Assam Rifles (AR) based on specific information apprehended one “Ghosheto Swu, son of Late Yelhozhe, resident of Dhansiripar, a regular tax collector of NSCN (I-M).”

PRO IGAR (N) said the accused also confessed to have carried out tax collection in Signal Basti area on “commission basis.”

Tax collection receipts and incriminating documents along with Rs. 1890 were also seized, PRO added.  The accused was later handed over to sub-urban police Station along with the seized items.
