Weavers avail free health check-up

A free health check up camp was held for weavers who were already enrolled for the health insurance scheme made available by ICICI Lombard in Urban Haat, Dimapur, Saturday.

For the last 6 years, ICICI Lombard has been enrolling weavers under its health insurance scheme and has provided many benefits which include free dental, eye treatment, hospitalization, OPD etc.

Last year 50,000 families enrolled for this scheme said area manager Sandeep Chaudhary. This year they plan to enroll more 60-65000 families.

Weavers who were already enrolled under this scheme were given a health card for cashless treatment where they can avail free medical treatments from various hospitals and pharmacies in Dimapur and other districts as well.
