Inaugural function of entrepreneurship development programme under PMEGP Scheme of KVIC was held Tuesday at Hopongkyu Memorial Hall Kiphire.
The programme was conducted by Institute of Entrepreneurship Dimapur.
Delivering a short speech Athrila S. Sangtam SDO (C) Kiphire said through such schemes beneficiaries should try to uplift the society in their own capacity.
She advised beneficiaries to use the loan amount judiciously and make a success story out of the schemes they had received.
Ranjit Das, Field Officer of SBI Kiphire branch who also spoke on the occasion, explained the procedure of loan and schemes in the bank and wished success to all beneficiaries.
The program was chaired by Sani Pongen faculty member IIE Dimapur, and welcome address by Z. Pochury, executive officer, NKIV Kiphire. The programme would continue till June 1.
