North East India Theological Association (NEITA) annul meeting cum seminar at Clark Theological College, Aolijen

North East India Theological Association (NEITA) and Clark Centre for Peace Research and Action (CCPRA) Clark Theological College jointly organized the NEITA annual meeting cum seminar from May 23–25.
The program was hosted by Clark Theological College, Aolijen and was attended by 50 delegates representing 15 theological colleges/seminaries in North East India.
One of the main features of the program were paper presentations which dealt with some of the key theological concerns like Holistic Child Development, Conflict-transformation & Peace-building, Gandhian Concept of Non-Violence and Leadership Issues in Theological Institutions.
The resource persons for the program were Rev. Dr. Wati Longchar (SCEPTRE, Kolkotta), Rev. Dr. Razou Lasetso (Asso. Professor, ETC, Jorhat), Prof. A. Lanu Ao (Director, CGSR, Nagaland University, Lumami), Vanlalchhawna Khiangte (Faculty, AICSA, Mizoram) and Akum Longchari (MD, Morung Express).
Participants of the programme affirmed that theological institutions and its members should proactively engage within the concerns of wider community and a joint effort of theologians from North East India can bring about meaningful transformation in the region.
NEITA Secretary, Rev. Dr. Akheto Sema (Principal, ETC Jorhat) informed that next NEITA annual meeting will be held at Eastern Theological College, Jorhat.
