Mount Tiyi College (MTC), Wokha organised an educational trip on November 19, for the sixth semester students’ under the theme “Save Amur Falcons”.
The students’ along with the principal and faculty members of the college visited the roosting place of the Amur Falcons to better understand the behaviour and ecology of the famous bird. They also got to learn from the guides on how they could become conservationists so as to protect the Amur Falcons against hunters. The team also visited the Doyang hydro project dam, wherein they were highlighted by the engineers on the process of electricity generation.
The educational trip enlightened and enhanced the students’ appreciation of the environment and the need to support conservation efforts.
