NNagaDAO, NTIEF protest from today

Network of Nagaland Drugs and AIDS Organisation (NNagaDAO) and Nagaland Targeted Intervention Employees Forum (NTIEF) would jointly launch agitation against National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) and Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) starting November 1, 2016. 
In a press release, NNagaDAO president, Abou Mere, pointed out that a deadline was given to NACO and NSACS till October 31, 2016 to release the liabilities of four months fund for the last fiscal year 2015-16, but they have failed to clear the liabilities and also failed to share the status to the action taken. Therefore, Mere said as part of their democratic and peaceful protest, the NNagaDAO and NTIEF would close all the drop-in centres and HIV and AIDS intervention (HIV Prevention and Harm Reduction) programme across the state from November 1-3 and also start non-cooperation movement to NACO and NSACS till justice delivered.
Mere said NNagaDAO was also likely to organize a protest rally in Kohima to demonstrate and express their resentment. 
The organisation has expressed hope that state government would not remain silent and allow few individual from NACO New Delhi to exploit its citizens.
