Department of Horticulture, NU: SASRD, Medziphema campus witnessed the wrap up programme of the week long model training course on “flower drying techniques and arrangements” on October 28 with agriculture director, Rongsenla Ao as the chief guest.
Rongsenla Ao exhorted the trainees to be sincere in all they did and to give an extra mile to achieve whatever their call may be. She highlighted that in the flower industry, “creativity”.
Best participant award went to Nukshiwala of Rural Development, best flower arrangement KVK, Zunheboto, Best card making Sanchobeni of Horticulture deptt and best bookmark making Felice Ovung of Land Resources.
Programme was chaired by HoD & course director, NU: SASRD Prof. Akali Sema, report of MTC was given by course coordinator Dr. Rokolhuü Keditsu, and vote of thanks by course co-coordinator Dr. L. Hemanta.
