One NSCN(I-M) activist was injured when the pistol of another activist accidentally went off during interrogation of some youths who were caught while extorting money in Kohima, Saturday. A delayed report said the NSCN(I-M)activist was rushed to a private hospital and operated upon to have the bullet head removed .The injured was declared out of danger. Earlier, acting on a tip off, that some youth were extorting money from shops in the name of FGN, the NSCN (I-M) activists caught three persons near TCP gate Saturday at around 3.45 pm after a chase in broad daylight. The three were later taken to an undisclosed location for interrogation when the accident occurred. All the three youth were released later the same day after interrogation.
