Training on winter crops in Mangkolemba

Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Mangkolemba block, Mokokchung January 16 conducted “Field Day on winter crops” at Tsurang valley.
FIGs members and progressive farmers from different villages under Tsurang valley attended the programme. Veterinary and A.H deputy director and convener FIAC, ATMA Mangkolemba block, Dr. Rongsentemjen delivering key note address highlighted the activities of Farm Information and Advisory Center (FIAC)- Mangkolemba block.
ATMA Mokokchung project director, Tekatushi deliberated in detail about ATMA and its functions-with specially reference to Mokokchung district.
The main resource person SMS, KVK Yisemyong, Samuel Sangtam explained the aim and purpose of field day in practical session while ATMA Mokokchung project director, Tekatushi explained in detail about package and practices of tomato and potato.
The programme also witnessed interaction among farmers sharing their experiences and also between farmers and resource persons.
