State Parliamentary Secretary for Prisons, Home Guards, Fire and Emergency services Er. W Kithan, has called upon Home Guards personnel to perform their service with dedication, sincerity and faithfulness and also work for the prosperity of home guards.
Er. W Kithan was addressing the 12th batch of Home Guards passing-out parade at Central Training Institute (CTI), Civil Defence and Home Guards, Toluvi, Dimapur as chief guest.
He also urged them to remain faithful to their colleagues so that they could achieve greater heights in future. Asserting that service of home guards was more of voluntary service, Parliamentary Secretary urged them to serve with compassion.
Further, conveying state Chief Minister’s praise for their valuable service, Er. W Kithan expressed hope that they would continue their dedicated services.
Parliamentary Secretary also awarded medals and certificates to department personnel.
Delivering welcome address commandant CTI, CD and HG, Toluvi, N Itoshe Kibami expressed gratitude to state government for reposing faith upon the department and providing static duties to vital installations. CTI commandant said that the 12th batch of basic home guards volunteers training was conducted for 60 days, which started from the month of January this year.
Home Guards director general, O Alem; Commandant General, Burkumzuk; Deputy Commandant General, M. Yaden and other officers were present.
Earlier, the home guards presented an impressive ceremonial parade. Altogether 182 home guards from various districts passed out including one havildar and eight security guards.
