Party workers resign, extend support to candidate

PRESIDENT ACCC ZBTO: Zunheboto 35 ACCC president Hotovi Chishi has tendered his resignation from the Indian National Congress (INC) to join DAN government under Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and to extend support to Parliamentary Secretary Industries and Commerce Dr. K.C Nihoshe. The resigned member has also extended support to DAN consensus candidate C.M Chang in the ensuing Lok Sabha election.
YY KIKON: Former horticulture director and NCP candidate from 37 Tyui A/C YY Kikon, has resigned from the NCP and joined the NPF in order to strengthen the party under the able leadership of NPF president Surhozelie and its dynamic and visionary chief minister Neiphiu Rio. Kikon said in a press release “Even though I had contested the recent state Assembly Election on an NCP ticket from 37 Tyui A/C, I have always remained a regionalist at heart and could not remain for long outside the party (NPF) of my heart”. He further went on to add that he along with his supporters resolved to work their best to ensure the victory of the DAN consensus candidate CM Chang in the forthcoming parliamentary elections in the state.
37 TYUI NCP JOINS NPF EN BLOC: President, NCP, 37 Tyui A/C Remomo Kikon stated in a release that 37 Tyui A/C NCP office bearers have resigned en bloc with their leader YY Kikon (former Horticulture Director and NCP candidate from 37 Tyui A/C) and joined the NPF in order to strengthen his hand and the party under the able and dynamic leadership of NPF president Surhozelie and its chief minister Neiphiu Rio, and resolved to support that DAN consensus candidate CM Chang in the forthcoming Parliamentary Elections in the state.
EZANIMO KIKON: Joint secretary NCP Wokha district Ezanimo Kikon has resigned from the post of joint secretary, NCP, Wokha district and joined the NPF in order to strengthen the hands of my leader YY Kikon (former Horticulture Director and NCP candidate from 37 Tyui A/C) who has also re-joined the NPF in order to strengthen the party and support DAN candidate CM Chang in the forthcoming parliamentary elections in the state.
NPF 59TH A/C SITIMI-SEYOCHUNG: President NPF 59th A/C Sitimi-Seyochung, S. Tsathrise, in a press release issued by its working has welcomed former general secretary (Admn) 59th ACCC Simon T. Natsar, Likhaba Thonger, former general secretary Sitimi Area congress unit, Victo Aye, former joint secretary NSUI Kiphire district and Tsrikyu head GB, Natsa village along with 12 households who resigned from both active and primary membership and joined NPF to strengthen the party under the leadership of chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, Dr. Shurhozelie, president NPF and MLA and chairman NSMDC, C. Kipili Sangtam.
NSUI 53 A/C: National Students Union of India (NSUI), 53 A/C Tuensang Sadar 1 have firmly decided to resign en-bloc and have joined the NPF party under the leadership of Elam Chang. The President of the NSUI, Lemliba Sangtam said the NSUI had lost its confidence of Congress party leaders.
NVC: Nokphu Village Council (NVC) has unanimously decided to support DAN consensus candidate C.M Chang in the forthcoming election.
NPF1 Dimapur-1 A/C: NPF 1 Dimapur-1 A/C has welcomed members of District Youth Congress who have joined the NPF fold. The resigned members include Secretary DYC Khekiye Sumi, Youth President ward-22, Toshiho and Nchumthung Lotha active members.
41 Tizit A/C RJD: The 41 Tizit A/C RJD unit has welcomed all members who resigned from NPF and Congress to support RJD candidate Peiwana Konyak under the leadership of Lalu Prasad Yadav and state President, Khetovi Kinny. The resigned members of 41 Tizit A/C RJD include, Menlem Wangnao- Assistant General Secretary NPF, Tizit ; Taolong – Youth President NPF Zangkam Tingsa; Moaphe- Youth General Secretary NPF Zangkam Tingsa; T. Topha, Panglie, Ashoa of NPF Zangkam Tingsa, W. Botai- Congress Mission of Zangkam Tingsa and M. Nokzang- General Secretary Congress of Zangkam Tingsa.
5 GHASPANI-II A/C : General Secretary and Vice-President of RJD, under 5 Ghaspani-II A/C, Nihokhu unit, Zhehuto Sumi and Hokheto, along with Kiyeho Sumi, Joint Secretary, youth wing, and Howoto Chophi, village working committee, have resigned from the party and have joined the Congress to support K. Asungba Sangtam, MP candidate and MLA K. Hollohon.
47 ABOI ACCC: The 47 ACCC has been dissolved along with its frontals since March 31 and merged en-block with NPF party to support C.M. Chang, consensus candidate of the DAN in the ensuing parliamentary election. According to a press release issued jointly by President of the 47 Aboi ACCC, C. Manta Konyak, and Longna Konyak, the dissolution of the party was to ensure the position of Nyeiwang Konyak, Minister for School Education and also to strengthen the leadership of Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio and NPF President, Dr. Shorhuzelie.
21 TULI A/C: Three supporters of independent candidate from 21 Tuli A/C, T. Tali, have been resigned and joined the NPF folds. The supporters of the independent candidate, Lemzükaba, Ngangshimanen, both of Merangkong, and Rosongnungshi of Kangtsüng, in a press release stated that they joined the NPF fold to support the state Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, and NPF President, Dr. Shürhozelie, and also MLA L. Temjen Jamir, who have scope to develop and uplift the downtrodden.
13TH PUGHOBOTO A/C : Four Congress party workers from Natsumi village under 13th Pughoboto A/C have tendered their resignation from both primary and active membership of the Congress party to join the NPF. The resigned members- Kughato Swu, former Congress party Chairman of Natsumi village, Hetovi, Nihoshe and Peter, active members- stated that they would support the DAN Government under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio and Dr. Shürhozelie, and work under NPF candidate from Pighoboto, Y. Viqheto Swu.
