ENSF appeals to lecturers, teachers to be sincere

: On learning that lecturers and teachers were not paying attention to institutions and schools at their respective postings under Eastern Nagaland jurisdiction including, Tuensang, Mon, Longleng and Kiphire, the Eastern Naga Students Federation (ENSF) on Tuesday appealed to all lecturers and teachers in all institutions of the entire four districts to be stationed at their posting place immediately.
Though the government paid handsome salary to the teachers, the students of Eastern Nagaland were becoming more backward than ever before due to the teachers’ absence, Y.P. Chillio, president ENSF, said while speaking to this correspondent.
The president also appealed to the teachers to be sincere in their duties in order to uplift the rural students. The federation also warned all VEC chairmen and WEC chairmen for not complying with the guidelines made by the departments. All units of the federation have been asked to conduct surprise checks in all four districts of various institutions immediately and submit to head office. Further, ENSF said it would not consider any case to those defaulters.
The federation said the teachers were the backbone of the nations but in the present scenario, the teachers are the cheaters of the future generation. It also said it would not remain a silent spectator particularly in educational fields. Further, it said that to mould the younger generation lie on the teachers, and a lot was expected from the lecturer. But it is of the contrary in the current situation. The federation strongly cautioned the entire fraternity of lecturers and teachers to be dutiful in its own posting place.
