The small farmer’s union office was formally inaugurated by MLA & Advisor VG, DB and GB’s affairs on August 10 at Sotokur village. Addressing the farmers at the inaugural programme, Kejong, said opening of farmers’ union office came too late because other districts had already started from the previous year. However, he called upon the farmers union to move forward for the successful implementation of the rural farmers. He encouraged the farmers to seize the opportunity for marketing outlet and urged them to work hard to bring laurel of the rural people. It may be mentioned that farmer’s union Sotokur was started since 2007 with 15 members.
Meanwhile, the farmer’s union Sotokur has appreciated MLA Kejong for his contribution towards the union and urged for more development of the rural farmers in future.
