Seminar on drug abuse
DIMAPUR: Kangtsung fellowship Kohima will be organizing seminar on drug abuse and HIV and AIDS prevention at RRTC, Red Cross Complex on September 26. Resource persons in the seminar will be project manager OST, Kripa Foundation, Ketho and consultant blood donation, NSACS, Alipoker. Organizer has requested all Kangtsung students from Class IX and above to attend the seminar.
Chakhesang Youth Front condemns
Dimapur: Chakhesang Youth Front has strongly condemned the rape of an 18 year old girl by Razaounu Khamo and Velazo Lohe between Merema and IG Stadium on September 16. A press release issued by Mudovoyo president CYF and Deo Movi, general secretary CYF while condemning the act has urged its citizens to be more aware in order to avoid such incident. Meanwhile CYF has appeal to the law enforcing agencies to initiate suitable measures and award befitting punishment to the culprits.
Meet on Ahuna festival 2009
Dimapur: The organizing committee for Ahuna festival 2009 of PWD, Supply Colony Sumi Community has convened a meeting on September 27 at the residence of Hokuto IFS, Supply colony at 4 pm. The committee has requested all members to attend the meeting.

DIMAPUR: NPF Youth Wing Central Body has convened a meeting on September 24 at its Central office. Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Kuzholuzo Neinu will be present at the meeting.

DIMAPUR: Emergency meeting of Diploma Engineering Service Association members of Irrigation & Flood Control department Nagaland has been convened on September 26 at the conference hall of EE Investigation Cell (IFC) 4th Mile Dimapur at 11am.
Sepfuzou colony social work
DIMAPUR: Sepfuzou Colony Welfare Board has informed that there will be mass social work on September 26 from 6am onwards. All residents have been requested to participate in the social work.
Kohima Healing Fest
KOHIMA: The inaugural programme of Kohima Healing Festival on the theme, ‘I am the Lord who heals you’ would begin on September 24 at Kohima local ground at 4.30pm. The programme would be led by Pastor Phomlee Van and speaker Rev. Tom Elie, President Oasis World Ministries, USA. Rev. Dr. T.R Angami, convener KHF would deliver welcome address.

DIMAPUR: The 35th Annual Social programme of Patkai Christian College will be held on September 26 with Union Minister of State for Rural Development, Agatha K.Sangma as chief guest.
Rachü Students’ Union social work
DIMAPUR: Rachü Students’ Union (RSU) will conduct a social work on September 26 at 9 am at R. Khel, Viswema village. All students of RSU from class 7 and above residing in Kohima and in the village have been asked to compulsorily participate in the social work. The union further informed buses would pick up those residing in Kohima from BOC at 8 am.
