Mkg, Peren PMEGP forms
DIMAPUR: The Prime Minister Employment Guarantee Programme (PMEGP) application forms will be issued from October 1 during office hours at the general manager, DIC, office. Inspector of Industries (EO), DIC Mokokchung, Angphangchuba Imlong informed that the last date for submission will be October 15 thereafter which no applications forms will be entertained. Meanwhile, inspector, SDIC, Peren, Alum Zeliang has informed sub- district industries centre (SDIC) Peren would commence from September 29. All interested candidates have been informed to collect the forms during office hours.
TNAI conference
KOHIMA: A state level conference of the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI), Nagaland Branch, will be held on October 8 and 9 at Town Hall Mokokchung. Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Kuzholuzo Nienu will be the chief guest while commissioner and secretary of the department, Menokhul John, will be the guest of honour at the inaugural function. The association has invited all trained nurses of Nagaland working in government or private nursing homes/ NRHM/RCH/NSACS/MUs to the conference. An executive meeting will be held on the evening of October 7. All the nursing categories have been informed to attend the business sessions.
Seithekema Village council bans
DIMAPUR: Seithekema “C” Village council has informed that hunting, fishing, extracting forest product would be strictly prohibited under its jurisdiction and that creating any kind of disturbance within shops and fields in the village area will not be tolerated. The council chairman in a press note stated that no factions /groups, societies are allowed to levy tax /money /kinds within Seithekema “C’ village without the approval of the village authority.
