Kyong bodies, AR reconcile

Consequent upon the apology rendered by 41 Assam Rifles commandant, the Kyong bodies have “honourably forgiven” all the misunderstanding that occurred during Tokhu Emong celebrations in Wokha town November 6 last year in the name of Tokhu Emong.
Kyong Hoho chairman Yansathung Jami, WTC chairperson Woben Kikon and Kyong students’ union president N Yiben Humtsoe, in a release said, the decision arrived after a two consultative meetings October 30 and November 3 involving Kyong Hoho and all its frontal organisations, Wokha town councilors, colony representatives and GBs in the presence of state agri minister Dr Chumben Murry, parliamentary secretary Er. Kithan and DC Wokha. It has conveyed to all that reconciliation between the two parties would come into force with immediate effect.
