Seminar on ‘quality education’ for Longleng district was held on November 3 at Longpong Hall Mission Centre with Parliamentary Secretary for Rural Development, Pangyu Phom and Parliamentary Secretary for Transport Dako Phom as main speakers. They stressed that in the age of globalisation mankind emerged as an information society therefore every student had to update their knowledge with the changing world. They also said the teachers should contribute their best service towards maintaining the role of teachers in the field of education and also said education department under the Longleng district should play the role of modern technology and improve upon what was happening around. DC Longleng, C.K. Nihekhu Sema also spoke in the seminar. 700 government teachers under Longleng district participated in educational seminar.
