Phom Peoples’ Council resolves

Phom Peoples’ Council (PCC) in a consultative meeting with NSCN (K), NSCN (I-M) and FGN under Longleng district on November 6 resolved to maintain peace and tranquility and to stop bloodshed among the factions within the district. It also decided to conduct co-ordination meeting between the public and underground factions in future so as to maintain peace and work toward unity.
Meanwhile, PCC president, Hamnyei Phom has extended gratitude to ENPO president, Y. Mangko for his initiative, DC Longleng, Nihekhu Sema, SP for their co-operation and in providing security, Yachem village council for food and lodging and all underground factions under Longleng district for their co-operation and sincerity towards peace and unity.
