Garo organization calls on Meghalaya Dy. CM

A combined team of Garo organizations and Minority Forum of 3 Dimapur III A/C met Dr. Mukul Sangma, Deputy Chief Minister of Meghalaya at Naithu resort, 7th mile, in Dimapur, on December 3.
The team was led by Tarun Momin and Apun Naben, presidents of Nagaland Garo Tribal Council and Minority Forum of 3 Dimapur III A/C respectively. During the course of interaction, they highlighted the grievances of the Garo and minority communities respectively.
The Garo organizations included Nagaland Garo Tribal Council, All India Garo Union, Nagaland regional unit, Garo Students’ Union, Nagaland Zone.
Dr. Mukul Sangma will formally launch the Airtel Hornbill national rock contest as the chief guest on December 4, as part of the ongoing Hornbill festival at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, in Kohima.
