Indian Oil launches fuel awareness campaign

To increase awareness about quality and quantity of petrol and diesel among general masses, the Indian oil Corporation Limited, Dimapur launched an awareness campaign titled ‘Check and fill’. Banners and hoardings were displayed in all IOC petrol pumps inviting customers to learn how to check quality and quantity of petrol and diesel before filling up their car tanks.
Officials of Indian Oil Corporation limited who were present in the demonstration at M/s. PCTC-Dimapur, explained to the people how to check density of petrol and diesel and filter paper test of petrol as well as quantity check in 5 liter measuring cant. A press note issued through mail reported that local people showed much interest to learn the techniques of checking fuel before buying. It also stated that quality and quantity measuring equipments were available in all petrol pumps of Indian Oil and customers could demand those equipments for ascertaining the quality and quantity of the petrol and diesel.
