ANEFWA condemns assault on employee

: All Nagaland Field Workers Association (ANEFWA)has condemned the alleged “barbaric” assault on its employee on shift duty by three persons on December 12 at 2: 10 am in the premises of sub- station Old Minister Kohima.
A joint press note issued by All Nagaland Field Workers Association president Panger Pongen and joint secretary N Lotha stated that despite the presence of police posted there attacker were neither stopped and identified.
All Nagaland Field Workers Association stated that an FIR has been lodged over the incident and urged the Director General of Police to give directives to its personnel to probe the incident and ask them to be more vigilant and “gallant “ in their duties. The note also requested the general public to bear with the association with the inconveniences caused due to the shortage of staff and asked the concerned department to fill up the vacancies.
