NSCN (K) cadre apprehended

Following Thursday’s incident at Mao gate, security was beefed up in Dimapur and in which an NSCN (K) cadre was apprehended by the police at around 0030 hrs from City Tower junction.
According to police sources, the cadre identified as ‘ss’ corporal Zupetho Sema along with his friend, a civilian, Yanbemo Lotha, were roaming around in a suspicious manner. On frisking them, a 9 mm country made pistol along with 5 live rounds of ammunition was recovered from the possession of Zupetho.
Both the accused have been booked under relevant sections of law, police added.
