USSC supports ENSF on new recruitment policy

United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) has extended support to the memorandum served by Eastern Naga Students Federation (ENSF) on new recruitment policy, where the minimum qualification for LDA Cadre in directorate and secretaries level was fixed at graduate level with Computer knowledge.
USSC alleged that the policy was directly exemption of Eastern Nagaland from government employment and termed the ongoing compilation process for LDA in all the directorates as “suppression Policy”.
USSC expressed that the government could not expect same educational qualification when education system had reached the area lately and hence these tribes were categorised as backward, the conference stated. General Secretary, USSC, T. Hepong Sangtam urged the government to review its policy for the Eastern Nagaland as per the memorandum served by ENSF.
