DC ERO Dimapur notifies electors

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Dimapur has notified the electors of 1 Dimapur-I A/C, 2 Dimapur –II A/C, 3 Dimapur-III A/C, 4 Ghaspani-I A/C and 5 Ghaspani-II A/C that the electoral rolls has been prepared in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960 and a copy is available for inspection at DC office Dimapur, respective administrative officers and booth level officers and the qualifying date for preparation of the electoral rolls is January 1, 2010.
In a press communiqué Maongwati Aier, DC and ERO Dimapur has informed that with reference to qualifying date any claim for inclusion of name in the roll or objection to the inclusion of names or any objection to particulars in any entry should be lodged on or before June 17 in forms 6, 7 or 8 as may be appropriate. Further, informed that every claim or objection should either be presented in DC Dimapur office or to the responsible booth level officers and area administrative officers so as to reach on the aforesaid date.
