Baihmo village: Citizens of Baihmo village have expressed gratitude to parliamentary secretary, Dr. K. C. Nihoshe Yeptho for initiating reconstruction of Rusheu Bridge under LADF scheme 2009-10. A press note issued by former president of Baihmo Students’ Union (BSU), Katoho Yeptho on behalf of village citizens stated that Rusheu Bridge, which was one of the oldest suspension bridge connecting Baihmo village and Aghunato town under Zunheboto district provided life-line for farmers of the area, and expressed gratitude to the parliamentary secretary for implementation of developmental activities and for bringing up such services for the citizens.
OSU: Okotso Students’ Union (OSU) has expressed gratitude to parliamentary secretary for rural development & REPA, Pangnyu Phom for inaugurating the first Agri link road from PWD road to Okotso village under NREGA scheme, and to NLA deputy speaker, Ralanthung Yanthan for inaugurating sub-health centre at Okotso village. Union also thanked NPF press bureau vice president, T. L. Merry for heading the sub-health centre project; Okotso village NREGA committee, VDB, VC, youth and villagers; and Okotso Ekhung of Dimapur, Kohima and Wokha for their efforts towards the projects.
BAPK: Bayavü Area Panchayat Women Organization Kohima (BAPK) has thanked the efforts made by T.L. Merry and Okotso Village Council in initiating the 10 kms stretch agri link road constructed under NREGA. The organization expressed hope that further development work would be done for the betterment of the society.
