Seed Farm Ward: Office Bearers of Seed Farm Ward, Pfutsero Town has felicitated Melite-ü Medo (Acca) daughter of Neitshülhi Medo for her achievements in athletics meet under 14 in 2004 & 2005 and under 19 in 2008 & 2009 during the 19th National Athletic Meet 2008 at Uttar Pradesh and 54th National School Athletics Championship, 2009 (under the aegis of School Games Federation of India) at Kerala. She won 19 gold medals and 6 silver medals.

ACC Niuland Unit: The Niuland Unit of Assembly Constituency Congress Committee, 4th Ghaspani-I A/C has congratulated Kughato S. Aye on being elected as president of District Congress Committee, Dimapur on August 30.
Pitoho Awomi, president, Niuland Unit ACCC has expressed hope that Kughato Aye, who is young and energetic would work for the interest of the party and strengthen the party from the grass foot level.
MOSUK: The Mt. Olive College Students Union Kohima (MOCSUK) has congratulated Vemuguo Hoshi, BA III of Mt. Olive College for winning silver and bronze medals under 75kg at the recently concluded 34th national senior arm Wrestling Championship held at Imphal from August 4 to 6 and 9th Asian Arm Wrestling Championship held at Guwahati from August 21-26 respectively.
