September 23, 2010 | by admin

Taking serious note of gang fights involving some group of school going students in Dimapur, the Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) Wednesday warned of initiating strict disciplinary action against those students found engaged in gang fights. Observing that some students in school uniforms, under the influence of foreign flicks and alcohol, were involved in organizing gang fights, the DNSU education and statistics secretary Jessy Kath said the union strongly disapproved such kind of anti-social activities from school students. Also pointing out that it would no more tolerate such kind of attitude, which hampered the good image of students’ community, the union further warned all the students to stay away from such “unhealthy activities.” Besides, while noting that delay in opening of stationery shops in the morning hours was causing inconveniences to many school going students and parents, the DNSU urged business establishment dealing in stationery/book stores to understand the grievances and open theirs shops by 7 a.m. hereafter.
