Government middle school Chaba Tuensang conducted a literary competition on October 14 at its school premises with Meren Chang SDO Sadar Tuensang as special guest and Sangkap Chang, pastor, Tuensang Town Baptist church.
The first session was chaired by Lino A/T and Naong Chemden H/Teacher who delivered the welcome speech. Tochi Chang WEC chairman exhorted and thanked the teachers for hosting the programme in the school.
Pastor Sangkap graced the function with a special prayer and Meren Chang, SDO sadar in his speech encouraged the students and highlighted on the need for co-curricular activities.
Before declaring the competition open, Meren Chang challenged the gathering to conduct civic sense assembly once in a month.
Speeches, quiz, traditional attire, fancy dress, dance, skit, solo and group song were some of the highlights of the programme which was followed by a mid-day meal.
Further, the school expressed gratitude to the DPRO for providing all the necessary equipments
