: United Sangtam Students Conference (USSC) on Saturday drawing the attention of director of school education Kohima has urged department in-charge to look into disbursement DA for mid-day meal sensitization training under Tuensang district which was held on October 8. USSC general secretary T. Hepong Sangtam stated that under the training, all VEC villages under Tuensang district were called but despite their financial constraint, department did not provide any allowances. USSC also alleged that DA under other DIS were disbursed and similarly requested the authority to grant DA to all representatives. The USSC urged the department not to invite village community/ rural areas under government organization without any allowance for any training/activities owing to economic constraints faced by the rural VEC.
