Newly constructed Church building at Ahthibung designated camp was inaugurated on October 31 with a brief dedicatory programme chaired by GPRN/NSCN UT-II chaplain Thankeya Kath.
Dedication of the Church was administered by Rev. Zutovi Awomi, who delivered a message on the need for unflinching commitment and rededication to the Almighty in overcoming various hardships and temptations.
Various GPRN/NSCN functionaries attended the programme including “Kilonser” C. Singson, NAPC member Haolim Kuki, Longchen,Nihito, “Dy.kilonser”, Nihoto, law & justice, “lt.col.” Hotoi, 3rd brigade “Naga Army”, speaker, “Tatar Hoho”, Hivokhu etc.
GBs and Church leaders of neighbouring villages also attended the programme.
Following the inauguration service, the GPRN/NSCN functionaries also visited Peace Park, constructed in memory of those who laid down their lives for the “nation”, and paid homage to the departed souls.
