Apropos to the demand for pro-vice-chancellor by the Post Graduate Students’ Union, Nagaland University Campus Kohima (PGSU-NUCK), the Post Graduate Students’ Union Lumami (PGSU-L) president Limameren N. Longkumer and general secretary T. Tohuka Achumi, in a release stated the demand would only divide Nagaland university (NU).
In this regard, PGSU-L stated University students of other campuses could be shifted to Lumami campus if they were facing problem as there was enough unused University land lying unattended. While urging all students of NU to join hands for the welfare and development of the University, PGSU (L) stated development of both the central and state government should not only focus on advanced districts but other districts in order to promote equi-closeness and feeling of brotherhood.
