FGN/NNC Angami region has informed the public not to entertain any kind of tax (revenue) collection under Angami jurisdiction with authorized letter from its “midan peyu” or town commander. FGN/NNC Angami region “midan peyu” Apfucha Angami, in a press release issued here today, informed the residents of Kohima and various organizations, business establishments, district offices and shopkeepers not to entertain or give donations to anyone unless authorization letter of the region was produced. The region authorities also stated that FGN/NNC cadres from other regions would not be allowed to carry out any activities disturbing the area in the name of Angami region and cautioned that it would not be held responsible in the event any such incident occurred. Stating that this was to maintain peace and tranquility in the region, FGN/NNC Angami region further warned that it would take its own course of action if anyone was found violating its orders.
