Vice Chancellor, NU, has declared Kezhakiele Whiso to be provisionally qualified for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Geology under Nagaland University. The topic of the thesis ‘A study for foraminifera and biostratigraphy of the tertiary sediments from Dillai Parbat area of Assam NE India’ was done under the supervison of Dr. R Venkatachalpathy, joint supervisor, Prof R P Kachhara.
Meanwhile Rokokhono Nakhro has been provisionally qualified for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Geology under Nagaland University on the topic ‘A study of structure, sedimentology and tectonics of the area around Piphema, Kohima district, Nagaland’ under the supervision of Dr. Nagendra Pandey.
