A total of Rs.14 lakhs only was involved in the publication of Nagaland Education Societycalendar for 2010. This was disclosed by minister for school education to a starred question by Congress MLA Tokheho Yepthomi.
The minister also said that the Calendar was printed as part of the pre-project activities and printed at Bhabani offset & imaging system Pvt Ltd, Guwahati.
He informed that the contractor was Northeast Consultancy Services Aizawl, Mizoram, the official consultant of NEMS, entrusted to carry out some of the pre-project activities on the RMSA that included publicity and media etc, out of which calendar was also printed.
