The Poilwa village Congress unit, Peren District Congress Committee and NPCC has appreciated 26th Aolenden constituency people, NPCC ticket committee and AICC Delhi for allotting the Congress party ticket to Dr S C Jamir. Describing Jamir as a man with vast experience in politics and leadership quality, a press release issued by Heling Zeliang, secretary NPCC stated that instead of countering one another, a free hand should be given to the people of Aolenden constituency to decide and choose their leader for the constituency.
Heling further said the Ao community, the most advanced tribe in Nagaland, first accepted Christianity, as a result, received God’s blessings in every aspect and believed the community would never go against the senior most person like Dr. Jamir. The Congress unit further hoped Dr. Jamir would win so that several constructive works for the Nagas as well as the nation could be accomplished.
