Mass social work along NH-155

A mass social work was jointly carried out by Yungphang and Aukhun sector union Tuensang on Saturday along NH-155 road from 1st nullah to welcome gate Tuensang. 

The social work was conducted in view of the fact that thousand of Tuesang public are facing hardship owing to pitiable road condition. According to the unions, the contractor had carried out the work many  several but could materialize even a year; and ultimately making the road look like a paddy field.  

The unions further question whether the government had given contract for “black or mud carpeting” and urged authority in-charge to implement the work judiciously for the people. 

The two unions have asked the contractor in-charge to complete the undergoing works within one month from the date of publication this article and further warned that it would take action as deem fit if work was not completed the within stipulated time.
