The indefinite bandh called by Tangkhul Naga-Long (TNL) along the Imphal-Ukhrul NH-150 was called off with effect from 8 a.m. Sunday. The TNL has reportedly announced the suspension of the bandh. However, on what ground, the bandh has been called off was not clearly stated while announcing the suspension of the bandh. It maybe mentioned that the TNL imposed bandh from 1 p.m. Saturday in protest against the alleged harassment meted out to people from Ukhrul proceeding attend the NPF’s Manipur unit launching function at Senapati, Saturday.
