Two persons have been apprehended in two separate incidents at Dimapur July 1. According to police on person identified as NNC “secretary of transport” Kakiho Awomi (43), son of Heito Awomi, of Lizuto village, currently residing at Niu Colony, Burma Camp, Dimapur was arrested while serving demand letter of Rs.10 lakh to one transport company. A case has been registered in this connection police said. Also, 24 Assam Rifles during a MVCP apprehend one person identified as Apong Chang (32), son of Soyen Chang, resident of Uravilla colony, post office-police colony on charges of possessing one 9 mm pistol with magazine. Police said a case has been registered.
