The soccer superstar David Beckham will be an “overprotective” father to his baby girl. David Beckham – who is expecting his first daughter with wife Victoria Beckham any day now – explained the new arrival will also have her three older brothers, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz, looking out for her. He said: “People say that I’m overprotective, but I’m so protective over my sons, anyways, I can’t see me being any more protective. “She’s going to have three boys to look over her; she is well protected.” With Victoria set to give birth imminently, David admitted the fashion designer’s pregnancy has been a pretty “smooth” ride. He added to Hollyscoop: “She hasn’t had too many cravings. She hasn’t had any sickness. It’s been a good pregnancy. It’s been really smooth.” Meanwhile, the sportsman recently admitted he had become overwhelmed by all the pink items in the family’s usually male-dominated home. David explained: “It’s a whole new, different thing for us to have so much pink in the house, lilac in the house and dresses. All the clothes are ready, the room’s ready. We’re really excited.”
