Verification or checking of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) registration certificate of cycle rickshaw/hand cart/trolley/bi-cycles and rickshaw driving license under the supervision of Hokuto Zhimomi, advisor in-charge Smal Vehicles Cell DMC would commence from July 10. In a press release Nikhashe Sema, chief executive officer Dimapur Municipal Council stated that during the checking, officials would be liable to impose a spot fine upto `100 on the defaulter (s) who have not renewed their license and `150 for those who do not possess registration certificate or driving license. Further checking officials have been requested to deposit the collected amount in the DMC Cash Branch through Small Vehicle Branch along with a report to the concerned advisor-in-charge. The officials are: in Group A- Mohan Bahadur Chetri, tax collector DMC; Adi Tetso, tax collector Dimapur Municipal Council and Hiralal, chowkidar DMC. In Group B- Ivito Sema, tax collector Dimapur Municipal Council; Ranjit Haldar, tax collector DMC and Kuputo, security guard DMC and in Group C- Shekhar Bahadur Chetri, RST collector DMC; Vinato K Chopy, RST collector DMC and Tongpang Meren, chowkidar Dimapur Municipal Council.
