NNC (N/A) Yimchunger region has extended its support to the leadership of M. Kiumukam Yim, vice president NNC (N/A). In a press release Lt. Along, Zhalo commandant, Keginkum commandant, Shokhia major, Kakong major, J. Akum major, Along cap, Chipung cap and Muthrong cap stated they were not with the ‘self style’ V. Nagi and Keuthsang Brig. Keorun commandant and Keshu retired village guard (Huld). The signatories also stated that Keshu had no relationship with NNC (N/A) and was like V. Nagi playing for his own benefits. They (signatories) further urged Yimchungers and all the Nagas not to cooperate with V. Nagi and Panger Walling. Meanwhile, on the imposition of three months Army Rule in Yimchunger region given by Keorun commander, Wati Jamir union secretary NNC (N/A) in a press statement said the Army Rule was meaningless and that the Yimchung region led by M. Kiumukam vice president would never exercise such rule in region. He also stated that the NNC (N/A) led by Keorun commander Yimchung region had no right to rule the Yimchung region without the knowledge of Dr. Senka, Kiumukam and Z Hozheto Chophy. Meanwhile, Naga National Army, NNC “Brigadier” Kiuthsang Yimchungrii in a separate press release issued by “Brigadier” Kiuthsang Yimchungrii stated that NNC (N/A) Yimchunger region supporting Kiumukam was totally a false information since Kiumukam a “self- styled” vice president was no more treated as a vice president of NNC and was already been terminated. The press release added that Kiumukam’s termination came into effect on June 2 and nine higher authorities from the army supporting him was totally baseless. Naga National Army, NNC also added that the meeting which was to be held on July 5 was totally banned by army of NNC command Keorun Commander. The NNC Yimchungrii Region (Army Rule) further urged Kiumukam not to misguide the people of Nagaland through false ideologues and false leadership.
