Pochury region: Regional authorities of Pochury Region, GPRN/NSCN, at a meeting on July 3 at Dimapur declared to support the leadership of NSCN chairman Gen. Khole Konyak and general secretary N Kitovi Zhimomi. Zusasie Pochury, Chairman. Pochury Region,GPRN/NSCN in a press release stated the members agreed that since the Naga people have called for reconciliation among the Naga groups, the impeachment and expulsion of former chairman S.S Khaplang was unfortunate yet an utmost necessity as it clearly showed the Naga people that impractical leaders have no right to lead the Nagas. Pochury region further said it would wholeheartedly work under Gen. Khole Konyak, and N Kitovi Zhimomi. SANGTAM region: GPRN/NSCN Sangtam Region, including “Kilonsers”, “Tatars” and military officers Kiphire on July 8 meeting issued a declaration that Sangtam Region would commit itself to the leadership of NSCN chairman Gen. Khole and general secretary N Kitovi Zhimomi. Sangtam region chairman Sepikyu Sangtam, vice president N Moses Sangtam, Secretary Kinglichem Sangtam and “Leacy” Speaker Selo Sangtam in a press statement said that Sangtam Region shall not be swayed by few individuals who are trying to mislead the Nagas issuing statements using the name of former Chairmann S.S Khaplang. GPRN/NSCN Sangtam Region stated that under the leadership of Gen. Khole and N Kitovi Zhimomi, the initiatives of Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) would be strengthened which would further bring all Nagas together to a common ground.
