Konyaks’ lauded for assisting admn in maintaining peace in Mon

The people of Mon district bade adieu to the outgoing officers, deputy commissioner, Mon Dinesh Kumar IAS, SDO Civil Hiazu Meru and SDO Civil Mono Khiam at a function held at DC Conferences hall, on July 29.
Outgoing DC lauded the Konyaks, Konyak Union, KNSK and Konyak Students Union for extending their cooperation and assisting the district administration in maintaining law and order in the district during his tenure as DC, Mon.
During the last three years of his tenure, the DC said that the district administration faced many challenges such as parliamentary election, state road show, census 2011& NPR and EPIC Campaign etc., and cited all these could be successfully resolved because of the cooperation and support rendered by the NGOs of the district and government officers to the district administration.
He also acknowledged the good support and team work of the subordinating officers, and requested the officers NGOs, DBs and GBs and Staff of DC office to keep up the same teamwork and extend cooperation and support to the new DC. The outgoing SDO Civil, Hiazu Meru and Mono Khiam also lauded the NGOs of the district for assisting the district administration.
ADC (planning) Those Angami; deputy commandant, VG Mon Chingshom; Principal Konjong School, Nyamto; president KNSK, Yumah; Manlip MTC; Wekong, Peshkar; vice president KSU; P/A to DC Wangkam and EAC Tobu also delivered the farewell speech and felicitated the outgoing officers.
