Mangkolemba Town Students’ Union (MTSU) has demanded the department of information and publicity (I&P) department to make its office at Mangkolemba functional within one month from the date of publication of this press release.
Mangkolemba Town Students’ Union in a press release issue by its president Imtitoshi, general secretary Tongpok and executive convenor Sentimeren stated the union had earlier on July 8, 9, and 10 conducted a surprise office checking and was dismayed to find the office without a single employee present at the office.
According to the union, the office was in the same condition when the union on different occasion visited the office March 15.
“In this present age, to find such high rated office defunct is unacceptable which directly affects the functioning of other establishment under ADC Mangkolemba block,” stated the union.
In this connection, Mangkolemba Town Students’ Union executives has decided to apply ‘No work no pay’ policy for the “erring staff” of different establishments under ADC Mangkolemba block.
