Phek Block medical officers and ANM health activities review meeting cum discussion on adolescents Reproductive Sexual Health was held on August 16, at chief medical office conference hall.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Khriezotuo DIO, followed by self introduction by the participants comprising of 11 ANMS, 2 LHV and medical officers from the block.
Chief medical officer Dr. L. Watikala graced the occasion and urged the participants to work hard and maintain a good image of professional health worker so as to improve the overall health development of the district.
She also stressed on the job responsibility of all the medical personal specially the ANM to be regular in their place of posting and to maintain good attendance and would not accept absenteeism but shall apply the yard stick of no work no pay.
Dr. C.W Tungoe deputy chief medical officer briefed the Skill Birth Attendant and Mother Child Tracking system formats to the participants, while Dr. Khriezotuo DIO presented the overall scenario of immunization in each block in the district.
After the meeting, discussion on the Adolescents Reproductive Sexual health was held at chief medical office. Dr. L. Watikala chaired the meeting.
She gave talks on the importance of ARSH programme. She deliberated on the Youth Friendly Clinic, and urged upon the medical superintendent of district hospital Phek, SMO of Meluri CHC, Pfutsero CHC and Chozuba CHC to establish Youth Friendly clinic/ARSH in their respective health centre.
Deputy MEIO and media officer also attended the meeting where they were asked to advocate the importance of Adolescents Reproductive Sexual Health and in all the school from the district.
