ANATU appeals dept to complete regularization process

All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers’ Union (ANATU) on Monday asked the education department to immediately complete the formalities required for the regularization if the authority was really going to regularize their services.
ANATU president Neizevotuo Nakhro and general secretary Huska Sema in a press release stated that by prolonging the matter, the minds of genuine teachers were becoming “more and more corrupted with each new day”.
The union also asked the department to retrospect itself on “blind decision” recently taken for appointing the teachers without having a second thought on language barrier especially at primary level.
The union also supported the decision made by NPF legislators on teachers issue published on July 30.
The union alleged that result of suitability test of some adhoc teachers were kept on hold whereas teachers were given regularization without appearing the suitability test.
Pointing out the unequal treatment by the authority, the union asked justification to prove the legitimate rights solution of regularization before the of the genuine adhoc teachers.
The union also reminded that department should solve the solution of regularization before the stipulated period and also assured to extend cooperation with the department.
