The NSCN/GPRN has expressed its annoyance on the “willful act of cowardice” committed by Khehoi Campers on August 2, where one armed cadre Bokato Sumi of Aichisaghemi deserted “Khehoi gang” along with arms and ammo joined the NSCN/GPRN at Zunheboto.
According to a release issued by MIP, NSCN/GPRN, Bokato’s father was arrested the same day and was detained at Amiphoto colony where the “gangsters are taking shelter forcefully”, and added such “aberration” would not be “tolerated” and NSCN would be compelled to enforce “tit for tat counter measures”.
The release further said that Bokato or any other cadres joining NSCN/GPRN was an act of “self-realisation and on one’s own volition”, where the parents or relative have “nothing to do with it”.
However if such unprecedented action was to be taken on the “blameless innocents”, the release said the NSCN would see to it that “every penny worth Government properties” recently stolen by Huvito Yeptho and the likes who joined Khehoi gang along with assorted weapons and cash amounting to more than `fifty lakhs (`5000000) belonging to Sumi Region NSCN/GPRN would be reinstated.
