Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) would be organizing an essay and slogan competitions under the theme ‘Clean life’ on the aspects of Kohima for class 8-10.
Essay competition would be held on the topic ‘Solution for a clean neighborhood with emphasis on dust-bin free zones and regulating /streaming of traffic in Kohima’ and Slogan theme: “Clean Life” on the aspects of Kohima. Painting competition would be conducted for higher secondary and college students on the theme “Clean life” Dream of clean and green Kohima, impression of Kohima- everyday life, visualize scenic spots of Kohima, the inhabitants, market place, street vendors etc. Entries should be submitted before September 20, 4pm addressed to Kezhazer Whourie, advisor KMC coordinator. Prize for the essay competition are 1st –`3000, 2nd-`2000, 3rd-`1000, and consolation `500. Prize for painting competition: 1st – `5000, 2nd -`3000, 3rd – `2000 and consolation `500 (5nos.).
A rally also would be organized involving schools and colleges, for which, confirmation of date, time and venue would be intimated later, stated KMC. Prize distribution for the competition would be held at the end of the rally.
