Rotary Club of Dimapur in association with district hospital Dimapur observed 26th national fortnight on eye donation under national programme for control of blindness at Rotary Centre, Midland Dimapur on September 1 Talk on “Let Eye Donation be a Family Tradition "was delivered by Rtn (Dr) Asonla Chang Ophthalmologist of Dimapur. She highlighted on the topic "why to donate eye"; "let your eyes live on"; "donate your eyes to help someone see.
Other speakers of the evening were Dr. Sukhato Sema, CMO, Dimapur District and Nukshila Chang, women leader Police Church. Inspired by the talk and for the betterment of the society Six Rotarians and their family members pledged to donate eyes. This noble cause was lauded by the gathering present from various section of people.
